the great wall of '07

the early stages. believe it or not digging those post holes was the easiest part.
especially with one of these. . .

Brielle's dad and I had all 16 of them dug in under 25 minutes.


Yes, apparently it does snow in Eugene from time to time.
we have planted some clover and slow growing grass seed on this side. We'll see how it does. It has the benefit of staying green through most of the summer with little to no water.

To balance off the snow pictures I'll just say that it is sunny and 77 degrees Fahrenheit today (25 degrees Celsius). Jackie has been walking the perimeter for nearly 3 hours, while I am in here typing a paper on Oregon senate bill 1149. Yeah, you guessed it, I'm the jealous one today.

you don't have to mow woodchips. well you can and your dog will love the chase.
